Fall is cranberry season! Or Autumn for all those folks out there.
What’s not to love about fall? The leaves change colors, the evening air temperature begins to drop giving a much needed reprieve from the heat of summer, the NFL football season starts, flannel shirts are back in style and it’s time to harvest cranberries!
In North America the harvest season for cranberry usually takes place from September through November.
If only there was an America holiday during the fall that celebrates the fall harvest…Oh wait there is! Thank goodness for Thanksgiving! I’m sure the cranberry sales force is thankful for all the tables across the country that have cranberry sauce alongside turkey for Thanksgiving dinner.
